Hi! My name is Mike and I'm a musician in the Milwaukee area. While I've been playing music since I was a young, I started performing solo acoustic shows in the fall of 2018. It's my way of finding freedom through my passion.
I do enjoy writing my own songs when I can, which I plan to share more of on my SoundCloud. However, I know audiences want to hear music that they've heard and know. Therefore, if you come to see me, chances are you'll hear a mix of pop, country and classic rock acoustic covers.
I absolutely love the organic sound of acoustic music. Whenever I hear a song that I enjoy, I almost immediately try to find the acoustic version or cover of it. There are so many talented and skilled musicians (especially in the Milwaukee area), I'm never short of finding inspiring acoustic music or performances.
When I perform, I like to use percussion instruments while playing guitar. My hope is that it adds more of a fullness to the sound. I recently started learning how to play the harmonica too. I am very much a beginning harmonica player but I try to incorporate it when I can.
